Kody Dalton

Indoor/Beach

Kody is originally from Sparta, NC and currently resides in Winston Salem. Kody is very committed to our mission at CHAOS and doesn't mind making the drive to Charlotte! 

Kody has ten years of volleyball experience, playing indoor and outdoor. He previously coached at Champion Volleyball Club and Atkins High School. In addition to coaching , Kody works for FedEx and as a USAV Official for indoor tournaments at the club and collegiate level. 

Kody's favorite quote is "Failure and rejection are only the first steps to succeeding." 

Gracie Garanich

Beach

Gracie is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio where she was dedicated to playing both beach and indoor volleyball. In college, Gracie was fully committed to beach and played at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. While playing collegiately, she was seeded primarily in the 1/2 spot for the bears and was nominated as a two year team captain. She moved to Charlotte in 2021 following graduation to start her professional career in marketing analytics and product management at Ally Financial. 

Gracie is excited to rejoin the volleyball community-this time as a coach! She's passionate about providing support to our players just like the way coaches have developed her in the past. 

Hannah Furr

Beach

Hannah works as a digital channels senior product manager at Bank of America, developing solutions for commercial clients on their online portals. Originally from Memphis, Hannah attended Emory University in Atlanta where she studied finance and marketing analytics. She played two years on the women’s varsity volleyball team - recruited as a middle, she saw immediate playing time as a DS for their right side, then played right side her sophomore year. After two years she joined the men’s club team, playing as a setter for their team. During this time she also began coaching with Tsunami Volleyball Club. She moved to Charlotte after graduation and joined CUVC where she coached both girls’ and boys’ teams for 6 years. This is her second year coaching sand and she couldn’t be more excited to see the development in our kids! Outside of work and coaching, she is very involved in her church and the adult volleyball community, as well as other leadership and volunteer commitments.

Hayley Lansinger

Indoor Lead Coach/Defensive Positionals Lead Coach

 

Coach Hayley began playing volleyball at the age of 11 and played club ball from 14U-18U, from the regional, national, and elite level. Hayley is a CJV and Porter Ridge High School Alumni and was recruited to play Division 1 volleyball at UNC Charlotte as a L/DS. After suffering from 2 concussions, Hayley medically retired from playing collegiately after freshman year and later on played 2 seasons of club ball in college and continued her coaching career. Hayley has coached at CJV for the past 3 seasons and is excited for a new adventure here at Chaos! In school ball, Hayley led her 2021 Lake Norman Christian school team to a state championship finish. Hayley also assisted coach Abby at Cannon School in 2022 to a state runner-up finish and a 2023 state championship finish. During the day, Hayley is a current 2nd grade teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools with her Bachelors and Masters in Elementary Education. 

Charlie Luong

Indoor/Beach

Originally from Raleigh, Charlie has years of experience with volleyball, particularly indoor and grass.  He specializes in setting and defense. 

Outside of playing volleyball, Charlie is the East Coast Sales Representative for Slunks and you can catch him at the major AVP tournaments with Slunks Gear!

Jade Simmons

Indoor Coach

Jade is from Muskegon, MI and grew up in Raleigh, NC she is a recent graduate of Central State University where she earned her Bachelor's in Exercise Science and concentration on sports performance. She has played volleyball for 11 years, including 2 years at CSU from 2018-2020.

After her collegiate career, she moved to coach AAU with Miami Valley Phoenix Volleyball Club in Dayton, Ohio where her team secured Gold at their regional championships. Shortly after she began coaching at Stebbins Highschool as Head Freshman Coach and assistant with Varsity. Deciding to focus of school she pulled away from AAU and High School to get experience by assisting with the Men's Volleyball team at Central State leading to her graduation. 

Her passion in life is to educate the youth and especially young athletes on how to properly take care of their bodies in order to succeed athletically and in life. It is a goal of hers to own a sports complex to cater to the growing athletic community.
