OUR HISTORY
Abby Hooker started Carolina CHAOS in 2013, because she wanted to provide all volleyball players the opportunity to play the game she loves so much. Carolina CHAOS is about family, growing in the game, and becoming not only a better athlete, but a better person. Abby loves this game so much and promises to put her heart and soul into each season, each tournament, each practice, each team, and each athlete.
The first year of CHAOS, Abby coached a 16's team which earned a Bid to the Girls Junior National Championships in Minneapolis. The past several years, she has coached the 18's National team and assisted with all other teams in the club.
"If you are playing to win the most games, medals, or trophies, this is not the club for you. If you are playing for glory, this is not the club for you. I have had my fair share of bad attitudes from players and parents. This is not what our club is about and will not be tolerated. We are a family and all glory goes to God" -
1 Timothy 4:8 “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”
Grass Expansion
In 2020, Carolina CHAOS expanded into the outdoor grass volleyball scene. An AVP organization, CHAOS quickly became the largest grass tournament in North Carolina and began attracting outdoor players from all over the East Coast. Our goal is to provide a competitive and welcoming gass tournament series for the adults and juniors on the East Coast.
